The house is on the market!!

Wish us luck!
Other happenings? Katie has 13 dance shows coming up and that is not including the St. Patrick’s Day Parade!! Both Katie and Ryan have their spring break next week and Mike took the whole week off, too. We’ll take Katie to her shows, relax at home as much as we can, and continue to get all the little things around the house done.
Hopefully, I’ll be back on here soon and with pictures!! For now, just enjoy the house pictures. Please take note of how clean my house is, ’cause it probably won’t ever be this clean again.
EVER.
We are aiming to put our house on the market on March 5th! We have been very busy.
Mike finished painting Katie’s room back to a normal color:
Raquel came up so our kids could have a play date, and as we chatted, we cleaned out the linen closet:
We are getting the hardwood floors re-finished, so everything has to come out of the closets. Here is my empty pantry!! What’s not so nice is all the things we have to do because of what the previous owner left us — see the nice paint job they did at the bottom? Why did we wait until now to fix it??
Lots of packing. Katie’s room was about 7 boxes. Ryan had 5. I haven’t even touched the office yet…yikes.
And good ol’ Mike doing all the painting, caulking, replacing, and fixing of things around our house.
The hardwood floor gets fixed this next week and all our furniture has to be moved onto the carpet. Then the following Monday the carpet gets replaced and everything except for the larger pieces of furniture has to be moved down to the basement. Then everything can go back into place. SO, I’ll need all hands on deck (for anyone willing to work for free Starbucks and lunches/dinners) to come help me clean, Clean, CLEAN between March 2nd and 4th! Any takers?
Ryan and I watched the little L man today and I finally picked up the camera:
We played with trains…
We played the harmonica…and danced…
We played in a tent…
The tent fell down…
We took a ride in the car and brought home McDonalds…
And we played swords…
What a fun day, especially because it was the *perfect* excuse not to pack up or clean anything in my house.
We’re moving…in about 10 months. Here are some pictures of our lot.
Our street.
Mike is standing at what will be our backyard fence.
I’m better at showing you our 2009 than writing about it.
Enjoy (sound on this time) and have a great 2010!
